When good things go bad!

Vents are installed for a reason!

Vents help send unwanted air outside. Dryer vents direct the warm, moist air outside to protect the interior structure and environment. Furnace exhaust vents direct the combustion byproducts, such as carbon monoxide, outside and away from your family. Blocking vents can allow unwanted environmental additives and can wreak havoc on the attached system.

Roof leaks are not always easy to spot!

The most damaging roof leaks are the small ones, much like this one. This roof leak had not yet made itself visible to the ceiling below, but water had been accumulating in the insulation and on the drywall. Left alone or unaware the water can slowly spread its reach, damage the wood structure-welcoming wood destroying pests, invite mold growth on the drywall and through the insulation, and eventually allow water to penetrate into the building interior.
